I have just finished reading your final thesis: “High-tech Classroom Management: Effects of an App on Disruptive and On-task Classroom Behaviours for Students with Emotional and Behavioural Disorder”, in which you carry out an important study to assess the use of the App for classroom management in terms of both increasing work behaviour and reducing disruptive classroom behaviour in students with EBD (emotional/behavioural disability) who use a multiple baseline for subject design. You have done a great deal of work in a long process, supported by an excellent knowledge of the subject and implemented with lucidity and extraordinary competence. The formulation and motivation of the research, its structure, the methodological research you have adopted are excellent. The social, scientific, and practical relevance of research in its specific field, knowledge and use of literature are implemented in an almost perfect way. If the purpose of your research was to assess the effects of a mobile application that was designed to provide a high-tech, low-cost yet affordable and easy to use a product for a classroom management intervention aimed at increasing work behaviour and reducing disruptive classroom behaviour in four students with EBD, it seems to me that you have fully achieved your academic goal. Finally, taking into account, the fact that you carried out your research independently, it seems to me that the general relevance of your work is truly indisputable. Truly an important study that deserves to be published. I am fortunate to be able to appreciate your work, a very stimulating topic that you have done with skill. At the same time, I am happy to have met an exemplary student, cultured and precious like you, so capable and inclined to the academic effort towards discovering new dimensions of knowledge, many congratulations.
